Bank of England Interest Rate Decision November 2026 - My Take

The Bank of England looks set to raise rates on Thursday for the first time since 2023. UK inflation jumped to 3.5% in September, and economists in the latest Reuters poll expect Bank Rate to rise from 3.75% to 4% at noon, alongside a new Monetary Policy Report. We’ll also cover last week’s Fed meeting: rates held at 3.75–4.00% after September’s hike, but two members voted for another rise, and with US inflation up to 3.7%, markets expect one in December.
