A lump sum has landed in your account: an inheritance, a pension transfer, a bonus, or the proceeds of selling a business. You know what you want to do with it, but the market is close to a record high, and this feels like the worst possible week to invest it all at once. So should you go in immediately, or feed it in over time? In this video we look at how ordinary a record high actually is, what waiting really costs you, and the one question I think settles this better than any statistic.
