I set out to grow huge container grown potatoes in February of this year. It has been challenging for many reasons. The weather wasn't the best, so I decided that containers were the way to go. To grow huge potatoes you need special seed potatoes that have the ability to get big. I used Kondor a variety that currently holds the world record for the heaviest potato.
I first off planted the potato chit into a pot, moving it on into larger pots as we went. before placing in the final container I removed all the tubers except one. This is the results of the final four containers.
We do still have one growing in the ground, I wonder if we can get a bigger one, this, however, is my personal best s far.
